CT scan and fertility ?

Will a ct scan affect my ability to get pregnat?

The CT scan definitely exposes one to much more radiations compared to the x-rays. The radiation exposure can be up to 500 times compared to an x-ray chest in the case of abdominal CT scan.

Hence, CT scans should be done only if utmost necessary. Otherwise they should be avoided.

However, a CT scan is not going to affect the fertility or your ability to get pregnant. I sincerely hope this information helps. Take care.
