I'm currently 33wks pregnant.
I've been getting Braxton Hicks contractions for a few days now. They would be at least once or twice a day, nothing too close to each other, then they'll go away. Now I feel cramps today.. Like the cramps you get before a period.. I forgot how bad they felt..
Does that mean anything?? Or is it that it's just preparing me for the real thing... and pretty soon?
My mom thinks I'll be in labor early, she never felt Braxton Hicks contractions.. & I think my sister didn't either, just with one of her kids..

Dear,
Braxton Hicks Cont. that you have been getting initially are not a cause of concern but if the contractions are palpable, and at regular rhythmic intervals passing from back to lower abdomen in front and associated with increased vaginal discharge --are warning signals for preterm labour pains for which uterine relaxants and steroid therapy for fetal lung maturation needs to be given at 33 weeks.Obstetrician consultation may be required.Urine routine and culture sensitivity must be done to rule out UTI. No heavy work is advised and abstinence is essential.
