I am a 34 year old woman who thinks she may be pregnant... My last period was the 15th of feb. I have yet missed my period (its not due until around the 15th of march) so i am not sure... These are my symptom.

cramps (but no bleeding)
swollen breast and bigger ariola's
and I also get a clearish fluid from my right breast when I squeeze my nipple, its not a lot, just a drop or so.
I took a test last week and it was negative. Was the test taken to early? Am i indeed pregnant or is there a chance something else is wrong?
Thank you for your advice

Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am glad to help you out.

Yes, you’ve done the Urine for pregnancy test a bit early and thus it has come out as negative.

The symptoms which you have described are seen in pregnancy. I’ll suggest doing the serum beta HCG test (blood test) done which is a much more sensitive test as the serum levels of HCG rise around 9-10 days after implantation of the zygote.

If this is also negative, then the chances of pregnancy are minimal. Then, other causes like hormonal disturbances due to stress, eating behavior, thyroid disorder etc need to be ruled out.

I’ll suggest consulting a gynecologist for the same. I sincerely hope this information helps. Take care.
