hi there,
im 27 years old and trying for a baby since 2006. i had polycystic ovaries so i was given diane 35 to cure that. i took that for three months then i was told cysts have disappeared an i have to take ovafin (clomiphene citerate) to assist my ovulation. then i got together with my husband on the 13th and 16th day of my period. he has a problem of delayed ejaculation so we tried the artificial way of making him ejaculate. after three days i had no discharge for a day or two and then i started to get cramps and lower abdominal pain n heaviness ..that was like a week and half before my next period date. my next period is expected on the 4th of july.. i wanted to know if these cramps and heaviness mean anything? also does artificial methods of ejaculation help

Am I Pregnant Answer A13784
Hi,
Welcome to the forum. I am really glad to help you out.

These cramps and heaviness which you are feeling can be due to pregnancy or sometimes due to premenstrual syndrome.

There’s a small possibility of bleeding in one of the cysts of the ovary (if there were some residual cysts remaining).

However, it makes sense to get the pregnancy test done. A serum beta HCG levels should be done which is a more sensitive test compared to the urine test for pregnancy.

An ultrasound of the pelvis should also be done to rule out the possibility of endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory disease, bleeding cyst of the ovary etc.

Please do consult a gynecologist for the same. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
