Am I Pregnant Answer A32058
Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
If you had not been sexually active without additional protection within 2-3 weeks of getting started on the Implanon, chances of pregnancy can be ruled out. The symptoms that you describe could be attributed to the side effects from the hormones contained in your Implanon. If these symptoms have been persistent, visit your doctor/gynecologist at the earliest for further evaluation to look for the exact underlying cause. If needed, your gynecologist might consider removal of the Implanon. Treatment as needed (based on examination findings and investigations results) would be started to help you control the symptoms and regulate your periods. Consider being in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Drink plenty of water. Take adequate rest. Maintain healthy diet and lifestyle.
Take care.
