Could I get pregnant on the last day of my period?

A few days ago, my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex. My period usually lasts only 2-3 days and it's regular. I think usually ovulate a few days before my period and a few days after my period (that's what the doctor told me a while ago and usually I can feel when I ovulate). I was just wondering if it is possible to become pregnant during this time?

A woman normally is not fertile on day 2 or 3 of her cycle.

In a normal cycle you will ovulate between 12 and 16 days before your next period (average 14 days before). If your doctor want to describe this as a few days before your period, or a few days after your period, so be it. In a normal cycle, you ovulate only once per cycle. A few times in your life you will ovulate more than once or at strange times.

Best of luck!

Thanks! So, should I wait to see if I get my period or should I take a test before then? And if so, how soon after having sex could I take one?

And also, I have no idea about that whole ovulating twice thing either. I went in to see the doctor because I had been have aches and cramping on each side of my stomach. She told me it was me ovulating. I even told her about it being twice, she said it was normal. So I have no idea!:/ I hope it really is that and nothing else is wrong with me! That would suck.

My recommendation will be to wait until 21 days after the sex. If you do not get your period in that time, use an early detection kit like Early Results (not the digital one). Save the second stick in the box until 7 days later and use it to confirm the first result.
