I have had abdominal surgery and then 3 hernias since. I have a bad cold and been coughing alot i was wondering if this could cause another hernia. Rolling Eyes

In a word, yes.

If you believe that you have a recurrent hernia, then you should schedule an appointment with your surgeon.
