Thank you for asking!
Recent history of travel to india with cough and blood in sputum needs to be evaluated and worked on. y first guess would be some prevalent troubles of the region like tuberculosis and pneumonia as 62 years of age suits that due to immune compromise . A little chest radiography with ADA essay would be a good start.Meanwhile some pulmonologists would help sort it out. Fever is a good sign here as it rules out malignancy. Bronchiectasis, bronchitis and the pulmonary pathologies need also to be worked for.A detailed clinical correlation is needed and consult to specialist is advised.
Take care
