I am 37 weeks pregnant and I have been in and out of the hospital for the past 2 weeks and have had labor pains and contractions as close as 2 mins apart and as far apart as 15. My question is if I did not dialate with my son will I dialate with my daughter? I was in last week and the butt was down and I was 70% at face. Plus I have been having tingling in that area and feel bubbling in my belly where the baby is. Is this all normal and if I still have contrations like this will they wait 3 more weeks till the 29th to take the baby. The baby is very active and I have been drinking alot so I know that the contrations are real.

Hi, and thanks for your medical question on eHealth forum!

If true labor pains have started and you have completed 37 weeks and have a previous history of poor dilatation, then you must discuss this with your obstetrician. At 37 weeks the baby is fully mature and it is a full term pregnancy. It would be better to go for elective cesarean.

However since the true situation cannot be assessed on net please discuss with your obstetrician. Hope this helps. Take care!
