Hi Iam 41 weeks pregnent and went to the doctors yesterday and she said my tummy was tight and that was a contraction, but I had no pain at all. when I got home I was counting my contractions and they were 5 mins apart (my tummy tightning), its the next day and still doing the same thing but still not painfull, why not can you help me?

Welcome to ehealthforum.
If you are tolerant to pain, then you will not experience pain with mild contractions. If you have ‘show’ or vaginal discharge, then it will indicate start of active labour. If the contractions increase in duration, frequency and intensity report back to your gynecologist/midwife. Be on look out for any abnormal symptoms and signs.
