contraceptive pills in last week of cycle inhibit pregnancy?

hi.
if i take contraceptive pills in last week of my cycles does it inhibit pregnancy.as i am getting married n my wedding dates are the same dates for menses.i dont want my menses on specific dates n also dunt wana get pregnant...so if i take pill now in last days of my cycles..does contraception works?

Contraceptive pills take time to show effect for prevention from pregnancy about 10 days and that also if taken continuously for more than a month.You can use them for delaying periods and consider using other protection methods for protection from pregnancy.
