contraception after birth

i am due my baby boy in 2weeks and need a contraceptive foor after the birth what is most recommended for 1st time mummys?

Are you planning on breastfeeding? If you are, that limits your choices drastically.

If you're breastfeeding it will either have to be a coil (mirena or copper), the mini pill or condoms/caps.
I had a mirena fitted after having my baby because I was breastfeeding and do not want to have any other children for a few years (couldn't be dealing with an unplanned pregnancy and the pop isn't as effective).
