Sir,
I have low grade fever 99-100.5 daily, from 1.5 years.
Typhiodiot test, Hapatitus B & C are normal, chest ex-ray is normal,
Mantoux test was Positive but a negative blood screening test for tuberculosis.
Once a doctor during ultrasound informed the spleen size in upper limits.
No antibiotic like ciprofloxacin work
Once Levofloxacin worked when taken for 5 days, but fever returned after 15 days.
Please help.

Thank you for asking

It is a pyrexia of unknown origin. There is a long list of differentials and that needs to be ruled out one by one under expertise of an internal medicine specialist and let them take care of it.

It will be a bit hectic but some time the rare etiology of this underlying will be sorted out eventually.

Take care
