Confused; Is she lying about being pregnant?!

I had unprotected sex about 4 weeks ago (on Sept. 10th), kind of a long story but basically we had a big house rented for a wedding party and I was woken up in the middle of the night by a girl, and since it was her idea I stupidly assumed she was on some kind of BC.

She gets my number, and a few days later she texts that she's taken the plan B pill. I was kind of confused just because it was a little out of the blue for her to tell me that, we weren't friends and didn't know each other, it was just a one night stand as far as I knew.

So anyway for the next few weeks or so she keeps calling and texting and basically begging to have sex again, which I denied every time because I found out that she's got two or three other kids and a boyfriend.

Then about a week ago (looks like about October 3rd, but I've deleted a lot of the messages because she's insane!) she calls me up and tells me that she's pregnant and is going to get an abortion. Originally she was asking if I could help pay for it, but then she said her brother has the money to pay for it and she can stay with him out of town while it happens and I don't have to worry about a thing, I can pretend like it hasn't even happened.

This morning was her appointment to get all the preliminary tests and things done, and she said that the doctor wouldn't give her the pill because she's having twins, and they won't perform surgery because there's "too much risk." When I asked her what that meant, she said it's her "previous health issues and bc its my 2nd set of twins."

She goes on to tell me that she has ultrasound pictures that she's got to pick up tomorrow to take to her OB in town here. "They normal dnt give copies at abortion clinics i didnt even want to see or hear the ultrasound but they showed me when they saw two. Seeing them and hearing heart beats makes it hard to terminate, makes them real." "One was 153bpm or 157 and two was 149bpm." Now this is extremely confusing and it doesn't add up because EVERYTHING I've been able to find says that the 150bpm range is normal for a 7-week old fetus. We just had sex 4 weeks ago, so that's impossible. She says her period was supposed to start on September 20th.

I'm trying to believe her. In my head I'm wondering if she's slept with somebody a few weeks before me and for whatever reason needs to pin it on me. I don't know her very well, we have a few mutual friends but there's definitely no real reason for her to use me for revenge or anything like that, so I can't imagine that she's actually lying to me.

Does anybody have any advice to offer? I'm in my mid-20's, I'm single, I have no kids, I live alone, and I never wanted any of this to happen. It's like some crazy freaking nightmare.

Welcome to ehealthforum,
The findings described by you do suggest a gestational age of more than 5-6 weeks (fetal heart rate at 5th week is between 80-103 bpm, and increases to 126 bpm by end of 6th week, increases to 149 bpm by end of 7th week, and increases to 172 bpm by end of 8th week of gestation). If the ultrasound report mentions the gestational age, it would make things clearer. If she was during her fertile days at the time of your unprotected intercourse (on Sept 10th, as mentioned by you), it could have lead to pregnancy, but the gestational age around this time would be close to 4 weeks (going on to be 5 weeks in next few days). You can consider getting the findings confirmed by visiting her gynecologist and discussing her reports to estimate the probable conception date. The exact results can be determined by calculating her probable conception dates and also by getting Paternity test done.
Take care.

She says June 21st is the due date, but "there is no way ill make it to term so probably 4-6 wks before then." She says kidney stones started her preterm labors with her previous child.

As per HIPPA laws, what will her gynecologist be able to tell me?
