I have been diagnosed with schizophrenia. I understand the sickness and have done allot of research about it.

What bothers me is that I have a big problem with stealing and lying. I make up stories, not to gain anything from it, just to deceive people. It gives me joy.

The stealing is the same. I steal things just for the sake of stealing. Usually I just throw away the stuff I steal.

Does this have anything to do with schizophrenia, or is it disorder on its own?

I'm afraid not, it just means your sort've an a hole.

I've met good schizophrenics and bad schizophrenics.

Anyone can be a compulsive anything really.

I would rethink your life for several years.
