I have read in many places that itching around the lip could mean a cold sore could be forming but, i also heard it could be a pimple. I have this itching feeling on the edge of my lip but there is a little black head there, is it a cold sore or a pimple?

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
It is difficult to comment on the cause for the lip itching and the black head that you describe without examining it. Observe it for any changes or development of any new symptoms. If it does not subside within 3-5 days, visit your doctor/healthcare provider for thorough evaluation to look for the underlying cause. Treatment as indicated (based on examination findings and investigations results) would be started to help you.
Take care.
