Hi, I was wondering if anyone has at 19 weeks after ultrasound been told that the baby's kidneys are cloudy? Does anyone know or understand what this means and the outcome? Thx

Welcome to the forum and I am glad to help you out. From the description, there's a possibility of some congenital abnormality of the kidney. It can be a polycystic kidney in which there's a production of a number of cysts in the kidneys.

You should clarify it from the radiologist if he/she can see the cysts in the kidneys. There's a possibility of an obstruction in the flow of urine resulting in the cloudy appearance. This can be due uretro pelvic junction obstruction. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
