Are there any difficulty of stopping cipralex after a usage of 6 months?
Is it ok if I am feeling better to stop it on the 3rd month? Or should I go along with it for 6 months? (as doctors suggested)
thanks in advance

I've been taking cipralex on and off for 7 years. When I've come off slowly I've experienced little to no side effects. When I've come off cold turkey I have had about 3 or 4 rough days where I'm super emotional - cry at the drop of a hat etc. After that I've been back to feeling like myself.

I would strongly recommend talking with your doctor before doing anything. Depression is serious and you should make sure you are totally honest with your Dr and keep him up-to-date with what you're thinking/doing. If you don't it makes it much harder for him to help you.

Good luck with whatever you choose.
