chronic sinus inflammation !!

i just had a catscan done 2 weeks ago which was iissuedd by my ent and he told me i had chronic sinus inflammation. ive had this issue for 8 months now. doctors have been prescribing me antibiotics which have been making me sicker and they havent been helping me at all. some drs were even saying i wasnt sick when my throat was red from post nasal and my nose was swollen.....what i dont get it. a part of the medical community definitely dont deserve their jobs. sry im just so depressed and upset lately. i cant work or do anything i want to anymore. its really been debiliatating . my main question is that my ent prescribed me antihistamines which to my understanding are used ONLY for allergies but ive neever had allergies in my life. its been 7 days now and the medicine hasnt worked a bit and i honestly even feel worse right now. i called him today to switch my medication and he said call back in another week cuz the meds take 2 weeks to work. am i on wrong medication? what should i do? plz help im really depressed and not myself. i dont even like life right now i really need help. i have no other medical problems and have akwqays been a super healthy person. also the antihistamine spray is called azelastine hci . thx plz write back i need to know what to do

Topical treatments to consider
Wow, I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling so awful Nick! Sinus problems are awful, especially when you're not getting the help you need Sad I really think a topical treatment could help you though. You should really consider looking into one. Google "Sinus Dynamics", it's a pharmacy that specializes in topical treatments. I hope you get the help you need soon and start feeling better!

I read your question and i understand your concern. Chronic sinusitis is either due to allergies or anatomical causes like deviated nasal septum. Consult an otolaryngologist and let them decide what is best for you.
