Hi. I am almost 23 years old next month. I am struggling profusely with fatigue during the entire day. I wake up and am not feeling rested in the mornings, and the afternoons have become unbearable as paying attention in class is even more tiring. I'm worried about what may happen because of the severe fatigue I experience. I'm not able to nap nor can I fall asleep easily during the day at all. My last nap was around 2 years ago, but since then, I haven't been able to nap even if I try. The fatigue seems to impair my ability to think and make decisions rationally at times and some days I even feel somewhat confused and disorientated. A lack of coordination and clumsiness are probably words that would describe how I feel during the day and I'm continually forgetting things and am often late because of the inability for me to get going quickly in the mornings (even late mornings) because of how tired I feel.

I have missed 4-5 classes from needing to stay home and lay in bed.

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
You need proper assessment. I would suggest you have special smear, renal function tests and thyroid function tests. Consult your healthcare provider with reports of above investigations.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
