Hello and welcome to EHF !

I went through your query and i understand your concern. However chronic bacterial prostatitis despite being recurrent disease, can be easily managed for the current symptoms with supportive care and antibiotics and Lifestyle modifications and hygiene measures. Adequate fluid intake helps a lot as well. Consult your urologist and let them find out underlying cause for it.

Take care

Chronic bacterial prostatitis cure rate
Prostatitis, which affects 5% to 9% of males and occurs mostly in middle age, is classified based on signs and symptoms, with urinary urgency, frequency, and pain typical in nearly all categories.

Fluoroquinolones are safe and effective for CBP because of their excellent pharmacodynamic properties, good prostate-tissue penetration, high bioavailability, the equivalence between parenteral and oral forms, and low resistance. Norfloxacin 400 mg twice daily for 28 days, ofloxacin 400 mg daily for 14 days and ciprofloxacin 500 mg twice daily for 28 days show similar results, with cure rates from 60% to 92%. However, ciprofloxacin is commonly prescribed by physicians and is the drug of choice, owing to its superior cure rates.

Hope this short information helps you.

Thank You

Chronic bacterial prostatitis is generally treated with antibiotics such as fluoroquinolones, tetracyclines and sulfonamides, which can alleviate symptoms and control the factors causing recurrent urinary tract infections.

But herbal medicine Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill can be taken for treatment. At the same time, prostatic massage can promote the emptying of prostatic ducts, increase local drug concentration, and alleviate the symptoms of chronic prostatitis.
