Chlamydia , trouble getting pregnant

i just found out i have chlamydia and the doctor gave me 2 pills to take and said it will be treated and gone witnin a week. i wanna no in the furture can another doctor tell if you had chlamydia before in the past or once its gone they will never no you had it? and does it put me at risk for having trouble getting pregent?

Welcome to ehealthforum.
If you are diagnosed to have Chlamydia infection, both you and your partner should get treated simultaneously with same medications. Avoid having intercourse while being on treatment. If the infection reoccurs, then another doctor can find out about it.
If the infection is not treated or it reoccurs, it can lead to infertility problems later in life.

Can it re-occur even if you and your parter have been treated for it in the past? And your still with the same partner?

that happen to me, my parten and i come back possive again, took the pills and waited two weeks before having sex, just to be a the safe side and we still come back positive again even after we had taking the 2 pills and waited 2 week. what is happening
