My concern is with a headache. At first it would come and after taking aspirin it would go away right away. Now for the last few days i have had it even after taking aspirin. The headach symptoms are its a dull pain that comes and goes. It seems to be only on one side of my head. It also seems to be worse after i awake from sleep. sometimes i wont have it allday but when i wake up i notice it. Now the confusion for me and the main reason i havent went to see the doctor is because its not a very bad pain. It never really is. Its pretty mild, so im not sure if its serious enought to seek medical attention. do u have any ideas?? please help.

Do you also have any neck/shoulder pain? Headaches can be a symptom of many things. In most cases headaches come from muscle/spine dysfunction. If you neck muscles have tightness or "trigger points" or if your vertebrae are not moving correctly, this often times results in headaches. You may consider consulting with a chiropractor first because this type of therapy is very safe and effective. A chiropractor should do a proper exam and let you know if they can help you or not, and refer you to the proper specialist if they cannot. Good luck.
