Hello and welcome

I appreciate your concern

Other than surgical repair in severe symptoms eg severe GERD, ASTHMA development as a result of hiatal hernia or young person wishing to avoid long term PPIS, the management of hiatal hernia is mainly symptomatic addressing the hypesecretion associated with the GERD.

Avoid constipation
Use prokinetics like metoclopramide as directed by your doctor
Use ispaghula husk for adequate fiber in your diet

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
