Wow! Exertion leading to a feeling "my chest feels like it wants to explode" is a symptom I have not heard before. You then suggest that you feel a pain.
What is your age, what kind of work are you doing, do you smoke, what is your weight, what is your family history, give your habits, what is the nature of the pain, what do you mean by your chest feeling like it wants to explode, etc.
Conclusion: I don't understand your symptoms and cannot guess at their origin.
As a general rule, chest pain related to exertion calls for seeing a physician.
