Chances of Getting Pregnant after Taking iPill?

My fiance and i "did not" have sex. Though there is a possibility his pre-*** might have reached my vagina. So i took an i-pill immediately. had my last periods on 15 Dec 2011. we made out on 3rd january 2012. And i am supposed to get my periods tomorrow. We haven't planned on pregnancy yet. and we will use a condom from next time. this was unexpected. have been a little worried. what are the chances of getting pregnant after taking i-pill? is it okay for periods to get delayed after taking the pill? how long should i wait before taking a pregnancy test?

Hello,

Welcome to ehealthforum

First of all if you did not have unprotected intercourse then conception is not possible.Secondly if I pill was taken within 72 hours then it is quite effective in providing protection.
Emergency contraceptive pill may cause breakthrough bleeding which may present as normal period. Also the next cycle might be delayed by a week or so.Wait for the periods and if they are delayed by more than a week consider visiting a Gynaecologist for evaluation.
Take care!
