causes of air bubbles in the back of my brain/top of my spine

User Profile
for as long as i can remember i've had the following symptoms. sometimes i can hear air bubbles releasing at the back of my brain/top of my spine. What could cause this ?? the noise is louder under water. also last week when i lowered my head forward it almost felt like a pressure build up in my brain was causing a terrible head ache.

One thing is certain: it is extremely unlikely that the sound is made by air bubbles. The sound is most likely produced by joints and ligaments in the spine. Would not comment on the headache - not enough info. By Andre Strizhak
