cant urinate for 6 days had cervical surgery with anesthia


i have bad bph i had cervical lamectomy surgery with anesthia 6 days ago.. since the surgery cant pea at all hospital sent me home with a cathera i was given about 4 cathers in hospital and no effect.. seems my prostrate completely closed Seeing urology dr wed.
now taking flowmax. every time catheria taken to take to prevent bladder from ecploading i could not pea after.

dont know what dr will do. i would go for a surgical procedure tomorrow. so uncompfortable. hope not permanent or nerve damage. it was bothering me a lot before surgery

I read your question and I understand your concern.
Its due to stress that is exacerbating BPH.
It doesnot imply permanent nerve damage. If urethral catheterization is not successful then supra pubic should be tried.
