Cancer or just bad skin?

I've had this weird area on my right boob for about three weeks now; it looks like a light pink bruise but it hasnt gone through the stages of bruising as itms always been this light pink colour. It's circular and a couple of inches in diameter - i checked for a lump but couldnt find a definate one. It doesn't hurt on the surface but the skin is a little dry and kinda scaly- i thought it might be ringworm at first but it hasnt blistered or spread so i crossed that out. At first it was a little sore deeper in the breast like a bruise but that went away, however now i get this random throbbing in my boob like indigestion pain but a little less stingy. I wanna avoid going to the doctor yet as i'd have to book it through my mother who would want to see it and show the whole family no doubt (i'm only 17 and idk how to make appoinments oops)

Based on your description its most likely to be a benign skin lesion it would require topical treatment at best. You may upload an image of the lesion in another query. Breast examination would also be required. The breast needs to be examined for any associated lump or swelling just to be on the safe side. You should not ignore it and get it checked out to have peace of mind.
