can tri ortho cyclen cause a miscarriage ?

i just started bcp about 2 weeks ago and had sex without a condom on day 8 but im still scared i might be pregnant . if i were pregnant and i kept taking the bcp , would i eventually miscarry ?

NO. BIrth control does not cause an abortion or a miscarriage. Birth control does not harm a baby at all. It is advisable to stop birth control should you get pregnant to reduce the amount of hormones in your body and the baby, but it is not because there are any evidence that it hurts a baby.

As long as you took your pills as prescribed, there is no reason to think that you can be pregnant. Not after the first 7 days.
