User Profile
Ok so on November 1 i had a misscarraige after 6 weeks of pregnancy. November 18 i had sex and the condom broke, i took the plan b on november 19. On november 19 i started bleeding. Dont kno if it was my period or from the misscarraige. I had unproted sex ( overly drunk,, not happy at all about it) on nov 26, my period was light. Nd it completly ended on the 27th. Im so scared to be pregnant, im already a single mom of 2. Do yuu think i am pregnant. I cannot take a test because it hasnt been 8 weeks after my misscarraige nd ob said it can still read possitive and honestly it would freak me out more if i read that. What can i do? Am i pregnant?

Am I Pregnant Answer A50598
Hi, and thanks for your query on eHealth forum!

Well, you are in a tough situation. You can go for blood test for pregnancy where they measure the HCG levels. Then repeat this test at 48 hrs or 72 hrs interval. If you are pregnant, the second test will show a rising HCG level. If you are not pregnant, then the levels will either remain same or decline. However, wait for at least 3 weeks from the last unprotected sex date. Hope this helps. Take care!
