can she inseminate herself?

Getting Pregnant from Self-insemination.

Dear Doctor,

I masturbated one evening and I later ejaculated in my underwear. I then soaked my underwear initially in hot water overnight in the sink, for about 10 hours.

The next day, my girlfriend visited me and she used my bathroom.

Now I am afraid she might use my underwear with some semen remaining to inseminate herself by rubbing my underwear with the leftover semen on against her vagina or stuffing my underwear with semen remaining into her vagina. Could she possibly get pregnant by doing this without my permission?

I saw this news about a woman using a man\'s sperm to inseminate herself through the semen she saved from oral sex. How is sperm able to survive in saliva? Can you explain? Here\'s the link: UD289PGQSGSCN

Welcome to ehealthforum,
It is possible to get pregnant by self insemination (especially if the girl is during her fertile days). Sperms can stay alive in warm (not hot) and moist environment for hours (like saliva, female genital tract, or even if it is freezed immediately). However, if you had soaked your undergarment (with semen in it) in HOT water then chances are that they would have died within few minutes of proper soaking.
If you did not have sexual contact with her and did not deposit semen (either in oral sex/masturbation/vaginal intercourse), then she cannot get pregnant and put the blame on you. Only if there was a sexual contact present on that day between you and you ‘gifted’ your semen to her, she can do anything with that (including getting pregnant by self insemination), and not by ‘stealing’ semen from previous masturbatory act that you did in her absence. For further detailed discussion, consider visiting a gynecologist/your doctor.
Take care.
