Welcome to ehealthforum,
If she was during her fertile days (after finishing her periods, she is most fertile), at the time of the sexual contact, then chances of pregnancy cannot be ruled out completely. Sperms can swim through if there is ample vaginal wetness present at the time of contact. She should have considered taking emergency contraception within 24-48 hours of the sexual contact to prevent pregnancy (if not ready for pregnancy). Wait and watch for her periods. Look out for development of any new symptoms suggestive of possibility of pregnancy. She should visit her doctor/gynecologist for further evaluation and investigations to confirm/rule out pregnancy if she does not get her periods within 10 days of expected period dates, or if she gets abnormal periods, or if she develops any new symptoms suggestive of early pregnancy.
If pregnancy gets ruled out, and if you intend to remain sexually active, she should consider visiting her gynecologist to get started on suitable regular birth control measures to be protected (after her periods). She should be regular with birth control use as instructed. Avoid having unprotected sexual contact.
Take care.
