I used my girlfriends razor who has herpes. She has never had an outbreak. Is it likely that I would get herpes from using her razor?

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
The risk of infection are high if you use/share razors especially if there is skin break or cut (being free from outbreaks does not necessarily rule out infective status of the person). Avoid sharing of razors, and visit your doctor/healthcare provider for further clarification and assistance. If worried, you can also consider taking prophylactic treatment (that is given after exposure). Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/healthcare provider and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately.
Take care.
