This is really a question for your doctor or the fertility specialist that knows what things look like. Please ask the right questions from the doctor, like what is the chance that you will get pregnant and carry the baby to term, and how many rounds of IVF is likely needed. Ask what their success has been with stage 4 endometriosis. IVF is a very expensive procedure to waste on a 1% or 2% chance.

To give some background, your chances of getting pregnant during a cycle without any challenges is about 40% in your late teens and early 20s. By your early 30s it is 30% and from there it drops rapidly until you are almost infertile in your early 40s.

To answer your question: Stage 4 endometriosis very likely means that you are infertile or close to infertile, but as I said, your doctor may know more.

Best of luck.
