Welcome to ehealthforum,
Stress can precipitate gastritis. Avoid foods and activities that precipitate the symptoms. Avoid keeping the stomach empty for than 3 hours at a stretch. Avoid caffeinated and carbonated beverages. Try with OTC antacids to see if these help with relieving the symptoms. Visit your doctor/healthcare provider at the earliest for further evaluation and assistance to control the symptoms and rule out peptic ulcer disease. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/healthcare provider and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately.
Take care.
