can an MRI without contrast Miss something

I Have pain in my neck upper back and shoulders a feeling of pressure in my head severe headaches my neck muscles are painful and weakening its affecting my breathing jaw pain I suffer from lack of sleep tingling and numbness in my left arm and hand So my Question is can an MRI without contrast Miss something or does it matter?

I read your question and i understand your concern. MRI with out contrast is good enough to rule out any nerve compression. Contrast is needed when they are suspecting a lesion or a mass.
