hi guys i have acid reflux i have wet burps litle sour

my question is that

when ever i eat my food
later i drink a glass of milk

now i have burps after eating wet ones
y do we burp food which we ate before
i mean milk wont come up the food i took before milk does why??????

Hello and welcome to e health forum.

Usually, fluids move faster through the gastrointestinal tract and are absorbed faster, where as solid food takes longer time to get digested and absorbed.

Hence, any food that remains in the stomach, can get regurgitated as a result of esophageal reflux disorder.
