burning sensation in my upper right abdominal

User Profile
Hello
I have had a burning sensation in my upper right abdominal for the past week or so. Sometimes it goes away and other times it feels as if it has a pulse and other times just exudes a burning. Any idea what this could possibly be?

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
The symptoms that you describe could suggest gastric irritation. The exact cause can only be made out after careful evaluation. If symptoms have been persistent or recurrent, you should consider visiting your doctor/healthcare provider at the earliest for thorough examination, and further evaluation done to look for the exact underlying cause, and get started on treatment as appropriate (based on examination findings and evaluation results) to help you control the symptoms. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/healthcare provider and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately.
Take care.
