Bubble on white of eye

User Profile
my guestion is about my 2 week old baby, who has a bump/ more like a bubble on white interior part of eye, near edge of iris. In hospital it looked more like a white flat spot/ calcium deposit or discoloration. But now it is a definate raised round clear or white
(same color as white of her eye-very shiny too) spot size of tip of dull pencil. no other symptoms. Is it a fatty deposit, was she nicked on eye in hosp., is it benign growth, viral growth, inflamation of conjunctiva...should i fast trac her past the primary doc visit next week to a specialist??????? Or can I not worry so much- has this been seen before in infants with out cause for cioncern? Thank You, very conserned mom of precious newborn baby. Kristin.
