Am I Pregnant Answer A40613
Hello,

Welcome to ehealthforum and thanks for writing

Implanon is quite effective in providing contraceptive effect and it is rare to have pregnancy while on it. The various symptoms explained by you as breast tenderness, nausea, bleeding can be due to various reasons as underlying hormonal imbalances, thyroid hormone abnormalities, endometritis, endometrial hyperplasia, uterine polyps or fibroid, ovarian cysts etc.

The exact cause can only be made out after careful evaluation. Consider visiting your Gynecologist for thorough examination and further evaluation to look for the underlying cause for the unusual symptoms. If hormonal imbalance is detected then you might be requested to remove the implant and use other form of birth control.

Take care!
