breast growth with this type of birth control ?

User Profile
I have been taking Loestrin 24 Fe for a week now and was wondering if there will be any significant breast growth with this type of birth control within time? If so, how long will it take for these side effects to kick in? I'm only 17 years old, Asian, and have breasts that are 32A. I've been researching online throughout blogs and some girls are going from a 36A to a 34C and I want to experience that growth in my breasts. Will there be a chance that I will grow my breasts that significantly? And if loestrin 24 Fe is too low a dose of estrogen, what birth control should I take with a higher dose of estrogen?

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
The estrogen content in the pills might help with growth in breasts. The growth also depends on the Tanner staging you are currently in at present. If you are at lower stages like Tanner stage 1 or 2, then chances of growth are present to upto 2 cup sizes. The breast growth also depends on hereditary factors or genetic build up. Exercises to improve the pectoral muscle tone also helps in making breasts look more prominent due to tautness of muscle beneath the breast tissue. You can discuss about Tanner staging and these factors affecting breast growth in detail with your gynecologist in your next visit to have a thorough idea of what you can expect.
Take care.
