Breast cancer is a disease in which malignant (cancer) cells form in the tissues of the breast. For women with early-stage breast cancer, a shorter course of radiation therapy at higher doses may be less toxic and lead to better life quality than a longer course at lower doses. The main treatments for breast cancer are surgery radiotherapy, chemotherapy, hormone therapy, biological therapy (targeted therapy). You may have one of these treatments, or a combination. The type or combination of treatments you have will depend on how the cancer was diagnosed and the stage it's at. And it is true with chemotherapy hair fall is commonly observed in cancer patients. Surgery is usually the first type of treatment for breast cancer.

Breast cancer is not cured without chemotheraphy, Chemotherapy treats a woman’s whole body for breast cancer, not just her breast. Chemotherapy drugs can be used to kill cancer cells that have spread to other parts of the body. They can also be given before or after surgery to lower the chance that breast cancer will come back after it is removed.

Chemotherapy (chemo) is treatment with cancer-killing drugs that may be given intravenously (injected into a vein) or by mouth. The drugs travel through the bloodstream to reach cancer cells in most parts of the body.
