Hello,
Most probably it was a fibroadenoma which should be diagnosed by the biopsy following the operation. If it is so, the risk is almost nil.If a biopsy proves that a breast lump is a fibroadenoma this result is benign with no increased risk for breast cancer. ... However, many of these women with fibroadenomas, also have denser breast tissue, and this does carry a very minimal higher risk for breast cancer.
So, you can understand probably, everything depends on the biopsy report or the type of the cyst.

Breast cancer is common cancer in women, but screening and therapy now make it treatable in many cases. Many people are active in the fight against breast cancer and choose wristbands to promote awareness for the disease.
