bread soda and/or baking soda to removing blackheads

User Profile
Are bread soda and baking soda identical in terms of removing blackheads? I've read several articles saying that one can mix baking soda with water to form a paste, apply it to your black heads, leave it dry, then clean it off. None mention bread soda, but that's all I have at home, so could I use it in place of baking soda?
