Hello,

Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am really glad to help you out. Your concern is regarding the status of your pregnancy. If you have been having unprotected intercourse and have missed your periods, then chances of pregnancy are there but they are very less because vasectomy failure is very less if your boyfriend had a vasectomy older than 3-6 months..

Spotting mid cycle can be due to implantation bleeding (due to implantation of the zygote after fertilization) or hormonal changes. For confirming the status of pregnancy by urine for pregnancy test (UPT),you can do a urine for pregnancy test after 10 days of missing your periods or get a serum HCG test done which is more confirmatory for pregnancy.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
