Am I Pregnant Answer A18673
Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
The emergency contraceptives work in preventing pregnancy if taken within 48-72 hours of unprotected intercourse. The bleeding that occurred after taking the emergency contraception could be the withdrawal bleeding. The usual period might get delayed due to this. Wait and watch for her periods to start. Look out for development of any other new symptoms.
Take care.
