Hi, between 2 and 3 weeks after my last period I noticed some unusual (for me) brown vaginal discharge. My sister said one explanation for this is pregnancy. So since my doctor had just taken some urine and blood from me for stomach pains to make sure everything else was ok, I called the doctor back and asked them to test my urine for pregnancy as well. The next day they said it was "borderline positive." So my boyfriend and I are in NO situation to handle this especially financially so I panicked really bad, cried every few minutes for that day (felt like several days) it was almost traumatic. Then the doctor had me go back for a blood test a couple days later and that came back negative. But I'm still scared. I read that it could have been a "chemical pregnancy" but I'm still really scared. I have to wait till Monday to talk to my doctor again. Any chance I could still be pregnant?

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
The chances of pregnancy cannot be ruled out if the blood test for pregnancy had come out positive. You can repeat the blood HCG test along with taking an ultrasound scan to confirm/rule out pregnancy in your next visit to your doctor.
Take care.
