Hello and welcome to ehealth forum.

Bone cancer also known as osteosarcoma is abnormal proliferation of bone cells.

There are no known environmental or life style related risk factors of osteosarcoma ,apart from radiation exposure , hence it cannot be prevented
Risk factors for bone cancer are related to gender ,age ,hereditary, race and certain diseases of bones such as paget's.

Hope it answers your question ,stay in touch with your health care provider
Good luck
