blood work has been all over the place for months up and dow

I have what appears to me rubbery hard swollen lymph node in groin and elevated wbc 14.5 why aren't the doctors concerned it's been like this for awhile unable to see but can feel a knot I have the herpies virus and hpv as well the doctor said I have a uti now but my blood work has been all over the place for months up and down they say it's due to severe mental stress can this be possible

I read your question and i understand your concern. Inguinal nodes are mostly not worrisome as poor hygiene and UTI can cause that. Raised TLC points to UTI if no other focus of infection could be found. Do as directed by doctor. You may need antibiotics for UTI.
